Red Snapper - 30in x 22in

The Red Snapper, called Tai fish in Japan, and often referred to as 'the king of the fish'  enjoy a special place in Japanese folklore due to their sparkling red color, which is considered a lucky, life-giving color. Tai fish are often eaten to celebrate the New Year.

This snapper measures 21 inches and is printed on off-white mulberry-based rice paper using acrylic based inks. Wet mounted for rigidity and archival stability.  

This artwork ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard mailing tube.
